Day Twenty-Six

Starting to wonder if I shouldn't rename this 365 blog with the title of Snowshoe's photo album, or something similar. But seriously, our cats are a huge part of our life. These two little kittens are a tremendous part of our day. Alex loves to run through the house trailing something for the cats to follow. And if he ever puts that cat toy down, maybe the rest of us will get a chance to play with them too! After a good romping through the house, you can usually find these two curled up somewhere comfortable and quiet. I have yet to figure out what is so comfortable about my bench, and yet is seems to be one of the cats' favorite places to curl up to sleep. How can anyone resist that upside down look from Snowshoe?.. You can? Really? Try it after you hear her purr when you walk in the room... ;-)

Day Twenty-Five

I love having snugglebugs! Aren't they just the cutest?! Yes, those are Snuggies they are curled up in. I thought the boys were just ingenious slipping into them and wrapping themselves up to keep warm like this. Fantastic way to camp out! I love the creativity of children. It inspires me to let go and try to be more creative. I learn so much from my children!

Day Twenty-Four

The great huntress has captured her prey and carries it into the distance. Okay, okay.. so that is Snowshoe carrying a feather on a wand toy across the living room. What was even funnier was to watch her brother Bear chase the other end of the wand trying to capture it. Snowshoe was moving so fast that it took several tries and over 30 minutes to finally get a decent picture. You can tell how fast she was moving from the blur of her back end.. her tailless tail. I love having playful cats, and having good quality cat toys for them is so important. Of course, just like with kids, you have to be willing to spend time with them too.

Day Twenty-Three

This truly did come off my camera! My new camera has a draw feature on it that I was playing around with. Heaven knows that I do NOT draw, I leave that to my mother and my daughter. So instead I thought I would try writing on it.. and out this came. One final thing to say...
