I love having Audible Books to listen to while we are doing things around the house, or in the car when we are driving to the store.
With Audible Kids, we always have something on hand that the kids want to hear.

Day Twenty-Seven

Boys will be boys, and when they are brothers they seem to fight even more. It is moments like this when they are both sleeping and calm that I can plainly see how much they care about each other. It is a nice reminder! Now when they start fighting and saying they can't stand each other, I drag out this picture and remind them that they really do care deep down. The arguments they have over little things will pass, and nothing is as important as their relationship with each other. A family's love should always come first. It works perfectly. They grudgingly grumble something about how stupid what ever the little thing is that they are fighting over, and within a short time a find them laughing and playing together again.

Day Twenty-Six

Starting to wonder if I shouldn't rename this 365 blog with the title of Snowshoe's photo album, or something similar. But seriously, our cats are a huge part of our life. These two little kittens are a tremendous part of our day. Alex loves to run through the house trailing something for the cats to follow. And if he ever puts that cat toy down, maybe the rest of us will get a chance to play with them too! After a good romping through the house, you can usually find these two curled up somewhere comfortable and quiet. I have yet to figure out what is so comfortable about my bench, and yet is seems to be one of the cats' favorite places to curl up to sleep. How can anyone resist that upside down look from Snowshoe?.. You can? Really? Try it after you hear her purr when you walk in the room... ;-)
